my proper blog is at: http://autumn-leaf16.livejournal.com/

Gosh…I had one of my worst ever day at work the other day as I did the most stupid…most embarrassing thing. (I rather drink Inui juice if I could some how reverse what I did). Okay…one of my job is to get the rice onto the plate/bowls so I have to make sure that the rice is cooked. (I usually wash the rice and cook it- press cook). We use steam pots (I think that is what it is called) and you basically have to fill the pot with a certain amount of water. Too much will make it another type of rice, while too little will make the rice too dry. Since sometimes the pot of rice will be put in the actual steam pot by my boss, I tend to take the lid off and check whether the rice in there or not. So I don’t know why, but on that day I actually just pressed cook. The problem is that I didn’t put any water so….

A WHOLE POT OF RICE WENT TO WASTE!!! I felt super guilty because so much food was wasted.

Second agenda- Murphy’s law. For two days customers would come at 8:15 or so, just when I am starting to make my dinner. (one part of my wage). So the other day I decided: “Maybe I should be a bit clever and alter my cooking time.” The other day I had to eat my ramen between making food because of a bunch of customer that suddenly came after I just had one or two bite. When I finally get to properly eat my ramen it was cold…(cries…) So that was why at the other day I decided at 8:10, to make dinner now. Partly due to the fact that customers seem to like to show up at about 8:15, and also because there has been no one in the food court for the last ten minutes.

Guess what happens? I have barely start to cook when a bunch of customers showed up. (Me: “………”)

Although the other day the worst case came. I was actually about to leave, I have done all that I can do in regard to packing up and shutting the store, I actually had my bag in my hand and I was just about to step out of the stall when this person came. I think my face must have been something like this: “You just try to tell me that you want to order something…” as that customer actually asked my boss about whether we are still open TWICE! So I presume that my face was not very friendly…

So that is a few incidents of what has been happening. Since I finally uploaded all my Fushigi Yugi fan fiction (a very difficult task due to the word length for each chapter) I decided to type some daily life stuff.
